Kirstin Muller is a partner in Hirschfeld Kraemer’s Los Angeles office. Her clients range from startups to Fortune 500 companies. She practices exclusively labor and employment law, defending clients in litigation in both state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies (EEOC, U.S. Department of Labor, California’s DFEH, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, Cal/OSHA, and EDD, among others). She represents employers in disputes ranging from discrimination, reasonable accommodation, wrongful termination, wage & hour, and trade secret issues. A seasoned litigator, Kirstin’s successes include numerous cases resulting in summary judgment and defending decisions on appeal, or obtaining outstanding settlement results. She also provides preventative measures to clients through advice, counsel, and training, in addition to being a frequent speaker at human resource and executive training organizations.
Alison Hamer

Alison Hamer is a senior associate in Hirschfeld Kraemer’s Los Angeles office. She represents employers in litigation involving all areas of employment and labor law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, unfair competition, and wage and hour. Additionally, Alison advises employers on wage and hour issues, policy compliance, disability accommodations and leaves of absence, and other personnel issues. She provides preventative counseling by auditing employee handbooks, policies, and arbitration and employment agreements. She also counsels higher education institutions on employment matters and student affairs, privacy, risk-management, and compliance issues. She received her J.D. summa cum laude from Southwestern Law School.
Benjamin J. Treger

Benjamin Treger is an associate in Hirschfeld Kraemer's Los Angeles office. He counsels employers in all areas of labor and employment law, and represents clients from a wide variety of industries, including hospitality, healthcare, banking and finance, fashion and retail, information technology, and professional employer organizations and staffing. He has a proven record of success in resolving cases short of trial, including through motions to dismiss, summary judgment, mediation, and informal settlement discussions, in which he has secured a number of walk-away and nuisance value settlements. He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School. In 2019, he was named a Southern California Super Lawyer “Rising Star.”
